Call for Submissions – ForPlay

We at team mobiusgames is currently hard at work in coming up with the next issue of ForPlay. I’m glad to announce that we are now open for submissions, and other contributions to keep our (meaning us and you guys and gals) magazine true to its spirit of For Players, By Players. Submission Guidelines:

All articles must be written in the spirit of fun, and in the goal of improving our community’s well being. No malicious pieces please! We all despise hackers, scammers, and other losers ruining our gaming experience, but it’s about time we put love in the forefront and start taking a more positive take on life!

No plagiarized work. Don’t copy+paste content from other websites, write your name in the by-line, and submit it to us as yours. TRANSLATION works are NOT PLAGIARIZED works, so feel free to submit translations of your favorite poems, or other works you would like to share (as long as you made the translation yourself).

It’s not about the quality, it’s about the spirit. Don’t worry about your work “not being good enough”. Submit whatever you want to share, and let us worry about it! To keep our magazine’s standards though, all works shortlisted for publication will be sent back to their writers/authors with some comments on how to improve it to give them a chance to rewrite, and come up with a better draft. We highly suggest all budding writers to take this opportunity to have your works be critiqued if you are serious about your craft. Writing is a craft that is a continuous process of growing, and exploring beyond your safety zones.

Submissions are not necessarily mobiusgames exclusive. Feel free to write about your favorite Wii game, or how much you love your PSP. If it’s about games, and the gaming lifestyle, we’re good with it—as long as it doesn’t come in conflict with our titles, of course. Examples of things that “come in conflict” with our game titles are: promotional features on titles directly competing with any of our games, and unfair and unbalanced review of any of our games, services, and teammates.

What May You Submit?

Anything digital, and can be cataloged!

We want to bring out the creativity of our community, so we’re encouraging you to go wild with your ideas! Submit stories, excerpts from your fanfiction novels, fan art, poems, songs, recipe for your favorite dish to eat while playing Rakion, fan-made video of GunBound, photos of yourself cosplaying as an EVE Online pilot from Caldarri, videos of you and your friends telling us how much you love playing DotA, or a short film you made about GONG!… It’s your turn to shine!!! Show us what you got!
